Who am I?

Hi, I’m Ryan David Tuttle. Currently I am a PhD Student in Psychology studying Cognitive Behavioral Neuroscience. Previously I have 7 years counseling experience working with geriatrics, disability, addiction, and mental illness.

Additionally, I am a former born-in Jehovah’s Witnesses. I was a Ministerial Servant, Pioneer, and a member of a Spanish language congregation.

My experience growing up in and escaping a high control religion such as Jehovah’s Witnesses is what has motivated me to persue my education in psychology.

My mission and passion is to help others by means of research and teaching science especially as they relate to stress, addiction, religion, and abusive authoritarian relationships, groups and ideologies.
